| Shrines and temples of Nikko consist of Futarasan shrine, Rinnohji
temple and Toshogu shrine. There are 9 national treasures and 94 buildings
of important cultural property at there. Nature and shrines forms a united
cultural asset and those forest areas are the sanctuary of ancient Nikko. |

| Take Utsunomiya-Nikko express way from Utsunomiya IC of Tohoku highway. Get
off at the Nikko IC and turn left immediately. Drive for Toshogu shrine and
turn left at the Gokoumachi crossroad. |

| There are relatively fewer snow around the Nikko station compare to
Oku-nikko. However, there is also snowfall, so please bring your tire-chain
and studless tire. |

Take local bus from JR/Tobu Nikko station heading to Yumoto-onsen, Lake
Chuzenji, or Hosoh, and get off at the Shinkyo bus stop. It takes around 8
mins. Cross the bidge, which runs parallel to the Shinkyo, and turn right
at the Shinkyo cross road. Walk 200 meters and turn left, then walk for a
slight uphill for 30 meters. You will find a board of our hotel.
*Or, you can take a World heritage loop-line bus and get off at Hotel
Seikoen-mae, then walk back 50 meters. This is the closest bus stop to our
hotel.
By taxi, its cost will be around 1000yen. |
